In memory of

Doctor
Thomas Edison

November 27, 2007 – September 10, 2026

A cat who wrote a blog, ended meetings on his own schedule, and ate cheese he was not equipped to eat.

Edison was a very important member of our family.

For almost 19 years Edison was a consistent presence in our lives. Through the best of times, and the worst. A true companion who would never leave your side and give the best cuddles.

He was the king of the household, he gave commands with a confident meow that was never misunderstood. He had a personality that demanded your full attention. He loved to eat cheese and milkshakes that he would later throw up. He knew how to open doors and explored the outdoors with no fear. He attended meetings on his own schedule. Nothing stopped him, not dogs, not humans, not even his own bowels.

This memorial exists to preserve as much of Edison's life as we can. Archived here are photographs, home movies, his writings, and memories of all the lives he touched.

He was here. He was deeply loved. He will be remembered.
